Within a 5-kilometer radius of airports and heliports, a permit is required for drones weighing 250 grams or more or equipped with a camera. According to BAZL regulations, the maximum permitted flight altitude is 120 meters above
ground level. Drone flights may only be conducted within visual line of sight (VLOS).
A permit is required for flights within this 5-kilometer radius. The airport manager is the authorizing authority.
The request must be submitted using the request form and in accordance with the document “Drone Information – LSXS”.
Flying drones without a permit within the zone is prohibited.
